A designer-first platform built for customization, training, and real-life performance.
As part of our Curious Collective tour (hosted by Mark D. Williams Custom Homes and sponsored by All, Inc.), Timeless Designs by Melissa visited the Monogram flagship showroom at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart. What we found: a brand that pairs serious design customization with hands-on support—so clients (and trade partners) feel confident from selection through daily use.
Designer Support: Training, Demos, and Virtual Consultations
Monogram’s team treats the showroom like a working studio: two live kitchens for cooking demonstrations, designer trainings, and—crucially—virtual consultations for pre-purchase guidance or post-install coaching. Clients can jump on a video session with product specialists or chefs to learn features, master techniques, or troubleshoot. It’s practical, white-glove support that shortens the learning curve.
Customization that Elevates the Architecture
Monogram leans into custom panels as a design statement. Their 96″ high panel option (industry first) visually aligns with today’s taller ceilings and millwork, turning refrigeration into a seamless vertical element rather than a visual interruption.
- 24″ Wine Column: dual-zone precision, UV-filtered lighting, anti-vibration compressor, smooth-glide racks—everything a serious collection needs, with the choice of custom or stainless panels.
- Integrated refrigeration options: refined materials—aluminum, glass, thoughtful LED—carry across columns and drawers for cohesive interiors.
- Convertible drawer configurations allow tailored temp zones (multiple fridge/freezer settings) for entertaining or family-life pivots.

Precision Cooking, Fewer Steps
Induction Ranges (30″ or 36″)
Monogram’s induction presents a compelling everyday argument: quick response, safer surface, and wipe-clean convenience. For remodels, ranges eliminate tricky cutouts and can be dual-installed side-by-side for more surface area without filler kits.
Ovens with Precision Cooking
Inside, True European Convection with direct air and Precision Cooking modes adjust heating elements dynamically (not just a static set-and-forget temp). In practice, casseroles, roasts, and baked dishes cook evenly throughout—top, middle, and center—so you can season, select, and let the oven optimize.
Five-in-One / Speed Oven
A high-utility “real estate saver.” It can be your microwave, convection oven, toaster, and speed-cook profile in one footprint. Pre-programmed modes (with adjustable microwave power, including “zero” for convection-only) handle dense foods fast—think a potato in minutes rather than over an hour—with crisp, browned exteriors from the elements, not a soggy zap.
The Hearth Oven: An Indoor Showstopper
Monogram’s Hearth Oven is fully electric—no additional ventilation required thanks to a catalytic converter—yet delivers the fire-oven experience. Expect ~800°F stone (up to ~1300°F dome), 90-second pizzas, and a pre-programmed menu for roasted vegetables, fruits, fish, and more. It’s an entertainer’s dream that also fits weeknight life: cast-iron dishes, quick sears, and caramelized finishes without outdoor logistics.
Smart HQ: Updates that Add Value
Monogram’s Smart HQ app is shared across GE’s brands, so one app manages multiple connected appliances. Beyond remote preheat/alerts, the sleeper benefit is software updates—pushing new cooking modes and UX improvements over time. Connectivity also enables diagnostics, which can reduce service visits and keep kitchens running smoothly.
Trade Partner Program & Client Experience
Monogram’s Trade Partner Program provides:
- Cash rewards on qualifying specs,
- The ability to extend builder-level pricing to clients, and
- A partner team for personalized demos (in-person or virtual).
For homeowners, this means better-informed selections—and appliances they’ll actually use to their full potential.
Our Takeaway: Signature Design, Simplified Use
Monogram’s value is twofold: make the kitchen look extraordinary (custom panels, tall integrations, refined materials) and make it easy to succeed (precision modes, speed options, electric Hearth Oven, and app updates). It’s a platform for clients who want architectural presence and reliable results—without a steep learning curve.
