Melissa Brunk
Founder & Principal Designer
Melissa, the creative visionary behind Timeless Designs, brings over 20 years of industry expertise to every project. Her journey began with a degree in Interior Design from The Art Institutes International in Minnesota, where she honed her skills and developed a keen eye for detail. Following her degree, she gained invaluable experience working in a high-end designer showroom, delving into the world of custom furnishings, cabinetry design, and quality craftsmanship.
Combining her wealth of design knowledge with her intuitive organizational skills and passion for people, Melissa founded Timeless Designs by Melissa in 2010. Serving clients across Sioux Falls, Lake Madison, Lake Poinsett, and Lake Okoboji, she specializes in guiding families through bespoke design journeys that prioritize and nurture meaningful connections at home.
With each project, Melissa leads with a fresh perspective, commemorating new beginnings and concluding with a celebratory toast to future memories.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Melissa finds joy in lifelong learning and a variety of community activities. Some of her favorites include partaking in wine and menu tastings, exploring hiking trails, immersing herself in local art and theater, and of course, attending her son's basketball games.
KIND WORDS
"INFORMED DECISIONS AT EVERY TURN."
"After Melissa successfully remodeled our basement in our previous home, we entrusted her with a larger project: transforming our seasonal A-frame lake cabin into our year-round residence. Throughout the design process, Melissa effectively translated 'contractor speak', ensuring we made informed decisions at every turn. Her remarkable ability to understand and fulfill our needs, coupled with her expertise for sourcing one-of-a-kind items, crafting custom-designed features, and maximizing storage, made our project a resounding success. With Melissa's patience and meticulous attention to detail, our cabin now pays homage to my in-laws while providing us with all the amenities we desired."
